Toby Perl Freilich
Director / Producer / Writer

Toby co-produced and co-directed MOYNIHAN, an L.A. Times Critic’s Pick, which was broadcast on PBS’ American Masters series in March 2024. She directed, produced, and wrote the critically acclaimed INVENTING OUR LIFE: The Kibbutz Experiment. Freilich co-produced and wrote Academy Award- winning director Aviva Slesin’s SECRET LIVES: Hidden Children & Their Rescuers, for which she received an Emmy nomination for her writing, and co- produced Emmy-nominated RESISTANCE: Untold Stories of Jewish Partisans. She is a contributing writer to the magazines Tablet, The Jewish Review of Books, and The Forward, where she was awarded a 2007 Simon Rockower journalism Award.


Anne Alvergue
Editor / Writer

Anne is an Academy Award-nominated documentary filmmaker and editor. She directed and edited THE MARTHA MITCHELL EFFECT, nominated for a 2023 Academy Award in the Best Documentary Short film category, and distributed by Netflix. She has edited many acclaimed documentaries, including the Emmy-nominated LOVE, GILDA which opened the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival and was released theatrically by Magnolia Pictures; the Emmy-nominated BODY PARTS (2022); and Emmy and IDA-nominated BULLY.COWARD.VICTIM: THE STORY OF ROY COHN (2019), also nominated for Outstanding Editing by Cinema Eye Honors and distributed by HBO.


Judith Mizrachy
Consulting Producer

Judith Mizrachy is a New York City-based producer whose films include the Academy Award-nominated  documentary THE MARTHA MITCHELL EFFECT (2022), THE BOOKSELLERS (2020), and most recently UNCROPPED (2024). Her films have screened at festivals including Sundance, New York Film Festival, DOC NYC, Hot Docs and SXSW. Her work has been shown on big screens around the world including Lincoln Center, BAM, TIFF Bell Lightbox, Bertha DocHouse London, and on small screens via Netflix, The Criterion Channel, The New Yorker and more. Judith previously served as the Director of Marketing and Communications Women Make Movies.


Alysa Nahmias
Consulting Producer

Alysa Nahmias is the founder of AJNA, an award-winning production company based in Los Angeles. Alysa directed and produced the Emmy- winning feature documentary ART & KRIMES; UNFINISHED SPACES; and THE NEW BAUHAUS. She also produced the Emmy-winning Amazon Studios release WILDCAT directed by Melissa Lesh & Trevor Frost; the Sundance Jury Award-winning UNREST directed by Jennifer Brea; the scripted feature NO LIGHT AND NO LAND ANYWHERE by writer/ director Amber Sealey with executive producer Miranda July; and the documentaries WHAT WE LEFT UNFINISHED directed by Mariam Ghani and AFTERNOON OF A FAUN: TANAQUIL LE CLERCQ by director/ producer Nancy Buirski with creative advisor Martin Scorsese, which premiered at the New York Film Festival and Berlinale. As an executive producer Alysa’s recent films include Alison O’Daniel’s THE TUBA THIEVES and Reid Davenport’s I DIDN’T SEE YOU THERE.


Matt Eller
Art Direction and Graphic Design

Matt Eller is the founder of Afternoon Inc., a Portland-based design firm. Recent projects include UNCROPPED directed by D.W. Young and Executive Produced by Wes Anderson, the Oscar-nominated MARTHA MITCHELL EFFECT directed by Anne Alvergue, and WITH PETER BRADLEY directed by Alex Rappoport. Previously, Matt was Senior Designer at Johnson+Wolverton and Design Director at the Walker Art Center.


Olivier and Clare Manchon
Composers

Based in Kingston NY (from Brooklyn/Paris/Massachusets), Olivier and Clare have created scores and songs for films including TURN EVERY PAGE about Robert Caro and Robert Gottlieb, THE UNBEARABLE WEIGHT OF MASSIVE TALENT starring Nick Cage, ONCE WERE BROTHERS: ROBBIE ROBERTSON AND THE BAND, Oscar-shortlisted short films DECIDING VOTE and HYSTERICAL GIRL and many more. Most recently, Clare and Olivier worked on the Emmy-nominated SPEAKING FREELY and the Jesse Eisenberg executive produced-SECRET MALL APARTMENT directed by Jeremy Workman, as well as produced and arranged three songs for John Legend on the Grammy-nominated “My Favorite Dream”.
